i think i have the best hellish day story......
my mother passed away this morning.....

she has been in the hospital since last thursday, was improving over the last few days, but took a bad turn over the weekend. we had plans to place her into a hospice today, but she went away early this morning before we had the chance. she departed this earth in her sleep and peacefully.......

myself and my siblings told her goodbye yesterday...she felt like she wasn't going to make it sunday and called us all up...i guess she knew it was coming....

i was on my way to work about 7 this morning, and i pass the hospital where she was at. i looked at the room where she was and said i love you mom as i passed. when i got to work, my sister called from the room and told me she had passed away about 15 mins earlier...about the same time i passed....i guess i knew it had happened....

this is all i can type...i cant think about it to long without sobbing...so i have got to stop. i guess it is sinking in. i am comforted by the fact she is no longer struggling. i am, but i'll get by.

If it's any consolation to you, several years ago when I was at deaths door with cancer, I had regular 'visits' from family members who had already crossed over. Right before I would fall asleep at night or very early in the morning they would 'stop by'. Some of my visitors I was too young to have known, and was only able to confirm their identity after talking with my older sister!

After having had this experience, I have NO doubt that our loved ones remain VERY close by and are loving us always from the other side.

Please, be receptive to her continue presence in your life.

Blessings to you and your family!

15. I had the same hellish day last June 14
when my mother suddenly died....no history, and part of it was a doctor's fault.

I am sorry sorry sorry for your loss...and believe me, the stages of grief are real. Embrace them, they will get you through.

PM me if you need to talk it out...talk as much as possible eith everyone right now, even if it make no sense, it will help. Cry as much as you want, anytime you want..it does not feel like that helps, but it does.

Can we FINALLY have a grief/support forum Mods?

she had also been very ill for a long time.

This will get better over time; you will never stop missing her, but the pain does lessen.
