It is late turning here in KC, perhaps due to the really dry spell followed by a lot of rain...

I have just swapped out drives on the server, so it may be a little slow until I get things back up and perky.

Lots and lots of photos guarenteed to make you come back home.

The snow only lasted until midmorning though. We have a couple more weeks before they plan on opening.

11. I do!
But the ones I posted aren't mine. The one on the bottom is from Devil's Lake, but I didn't take it.

The problem is, the camera can't capture it. I climbed the East Bluff above Devil's Lake Sunday morning (about 500 ft.) and looked down into the valley where my campsite was, and I knew that no matter how many images I took, none of them could do it justice.

Most of my pics have people in them. I'm not one for taking landscapes.

13. I'm just the opposite
None of my pictures usually have people in them. It still looks beautiful. I'm sure you had a wonderful time. Nothing refreshes me more than being out in nature.

This is the view I got Sunday morning after I climbed the East Bluff

This was the road that led to our campsite.

And here's a link to the DL website autumn gallery.

The entire weekend, we all commented on how we felt like we were in Lorien.

19. I miss the foliage around the Kangamaugus Hwy white mtns NH.
I'd drive up there every year from my Lawrence MA triple decker view.
Now I live in San Diego and everything is brown or paved.

All for of the pics I posted are recent. The world still looks like that around here, and we're in no hurry to let Shrubya fook it up.

Hold on to hope.
