1. Now you know why I'm moving to France in June... south of France
actually... near Cannes.

I love that country... all of it. Always have. It's where I belong for the rest of my life.

3. How lovely...only saw some of the countryside from the chunnel
but it was completely charming. We were only in Paris for a few short days but I was completely taken with it. Of course it was the first few days of spring and the locals and the tourists were high on the warm weather. It was like a dream!

2. Tell Me all about it! Please!
I'm taking a group of 30 + people from our University in May (fifth trip for me) and I was wondering what you did, how long you were gone, where you stayed, and if anything interesting happened while you were there?

6. My first time there, so what could I possibly tell you?
We were so lucky to have beautiful weather...first hint of spring and we took a night time river boat ride and people were picnicking on the right bank singing and waving and generally partying. Love was in the air! We went to the Moulin Rouge one night which shouldn't be missed. We stayed at a hotel in Montmartre (Mercure Roncerey I think it was called). It was close to the Opera House which I decided to tour one morning and it was well worth the few Euros. Gorgeous and decadent (that Napoleon knew his gold statues) and certainly worth the trip. Otherwise we did the Eiffel Tower (but of course) and strolled down the Champs Elysee. And the jam crepes were fabulous. Just wish I had had time to see the inside of all the beautiful churches and museums, but only had time for pics of the street views.

4. I got to spend 2 days in Paris in 2003
and I loved. A lot of history to be seen

my only problem as a person with M.S., that city is not made for me mobility wise.

8. Yep, lots of shallow entrance steps and gates with low trellices
to trip on. A lawyer's dream. Lots of folks in our tour group tripped over them, including me. :)

5. I lived there, and used to go there once or twice a year in the '90s
when the dollar was strong. Where did you stay?

7. I believe it was called the Ronceray Mercure
in Montmartre...next to the Hard Rock. Sorry if I am murdering those names! Still jetlagged!

9. oh I am so envious
I have been to Paris twice. Once I stayed for a Month in France, from the Rivera to Louire Valley and then to Paris. And once I traveled Europe for three months and stayed in France for a few weeks.

I would love to live in the French country-side.

10. We were in London for most of the trip
and when we got to Paris I felt like Dorothy leaving Kansas and entering Oz. It was pink and green and whipped cream and chocolates and music and life. Not that I didn't like London, but Paris was just so much more alive. Been back for three days and I just can't shake it off. Don't really want to either!
