Ovaltine Sucks!
And the AAR commercials irritate the shit out of me.
I dont care how much bett its supposed to be for you, It Sucks! Taste like shit!

6. That sounds like the same recipe
I use. I never knew a bald cat could look so beautiful. No insult intended, but it looks like your cat has no fur. Is it one of those hairless breeds?

BTW, there was a batch of Ovaltine recently that was BAD. They said it was because the mix was all wrong in that one lot, but they didn't recall it. I quit drinking for a while because of that. Went back to Hershey's. It should be ok now. Just make sure you look on the container for the lot number and don't get any from that lot again. Should work.

...demanding OVALTINE "HOT." Give me a break--if you wanted hot ovaltine, you'd ask for hot ovaltine--not ovaltine hot. What, all these kids speak English as a second language?

I think it sucks, and I was raised on it. For sheer decadence and crap that is bad for you but tastes good, go for the Swiss Miss packet with marshmallows!

I like Hershey's Syrup and Nestle's Quik though, so I'd probably like it.

The commercials where the kids tried to say "More Ovaltine, please" and are all like one-tenth of a second off from each other, though, used to crack me up...

13. I first tried Ovaltine after seeing that movie
With the kid wanting a BB gun for Christmas in the 40s or 50s (Ralphie). I'd look it up, but I'm too lazy. Anyway, he drank a lot of Ovaltine to get a secret decoder ring so he could decode the secret messages after his favorite radio show, and the first message he was able to decode said, "Drink More Ovaltine."

Ralphie hated Ovaltine but drank it anyway to get the ring. I have to agree with him - Ovaltine tastes like ass, as the kids say these days.

16. Try Cocoa.
1 tsp cocoa and sugar to taste in the bottom of a glass. Add a little water and stir until mixed. Add more water if needed. You should end up with a semi pasty slurry. Add milk and stir. Better that Ovaltine or that crap in a bottle.

17. I loved Bosco and Coco Marsh. Those tasted chocolaty like most kids
like it. Whenever we went to other kids homes and were offered Ovaltine, it was like , EEEEWWWWWW! Got any Bosco or Coco Marsh?
