10. Celine cut a very lucrative Vegas deal that
obligates her to perform 200 shows a year. What she apparently gave no thought to as she was signing up for the megabucks and job security was that her audiences would be tourists who've come to gamble, drink, party, and maybe see a show; and that more than a few would be dead-tired, jet-lagged, shit-faced, broke, and/or just along for the ride, and not particularly interested in her or her singing.

Have to take the good with the bad, Celine. No sympathy for you.

11. Agreed.
I don't think she has any passion for the music and she seems too pretentious. It all seems trite, contrived and it has almost entirely been written by outside writers.

12. What difference does it make? They've already paid to see the show.
If they want to sleep through it, that's their choice. Of course, they could probably get a better nap at home for much less money - and they wouldn't have to put up with the tonal howling of Ms. Dion.

...a number of years ago, I took a trip to Canada with my mom and a friend of hers at the time. And they kept playing a goddamn Celine Dion CD. They must have played it 5 times in the car over the course of a week. I just wanted to toss that thing out the window on the freeway. I don't know how I leved through that. :puke:

25. I think she could make more money paying people NOT to hear her.
She could force people going to other Vegas shows to pay protection money to have her NOT brought in as a guest artist. I would!
