*hands over ears and screaming*
Yesterday at work there was a glitch with the computer and the totals for the day would have been wrong, so I e-mailed management and told them this. It would be fixed in the morning when the person who knows how to manually enter information gets there. I just got a phone call with someone bitching that I am not supposed to contact management for any reason. So, to keep them from bitching at me for the totals being off, I thought I would send them a message explaining why, and I still get in trouble. I am damned if I do, and damned if I don't. They are so about to lose three out of four employees because of their arrogance and dare I say once more, bitchiness. Two people in the past week came in for their shifts in tears because they just could not stand to come in and be ranted at randomly.

1. I don't know where, or in what field you work,
But when I was working in a job where I found myself ranting and screaming about the shitty management, I went out and unionized the place. Since it sounds as though you're ready to punt this job anyway, so what better way to go than by putting a permanent thorn into their side. Besides, it is a great, constructive way to vent your anger, and to reel the management back under some sort of control.

3. Wow -- Great Suggestion
Congratulations on organizing your former employer. Things have changed so much in this country that people don't even think of that option any longer.

2. PHB Nation
An endless stream of politicians from the "private Sector" have been inflicted on us. Usually they run on campaigns promising to "Run government like a business". I can't believe so many fall for this when every day they go to work and deal with bosses that make Dilbert's boss look like Captain Picard. Corporate advancement in America these days seems to demand an amazing blend of incompetence and sociopath.
