AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!
Three weeks ago we told them that they would be getting an email about this online feedback tool we have contracted for them to rate each other on their negotiating skills. The survey opened up before they left on break (almost 2 weeks ago) and I'm STILL getting emails saying "I didn't get that email."
Why didn't they tell me that before they left on break? We asked them to let us know BEFORE BREAK if they had any problems w/ the survey!!!
I posted assignments for today's class last Thursday, but late last night I got 10 emails from students who didn't know they had a poll to complete before 8:00 pm last night as part of their assignment. Why should I bother posting the assignments a week early if they're not going to look at them until 10:00 pm the night before?
These are the people who are going to run things????
(Sorry, I had to rant. I've been doing this for 18 years and it never changes. And the more we do for them, the more they want us to do for them. Seriously, can you imagine having to convince a student to put his/her name on their homework?)
