Comics heads: should I see League of Extroardinary Gentlemen?
I loved the comic but I am wary of the film.

1. It's a pretty sucky movie to be honest.
I'm a big fan of bad movies, but this one was so bad that it made me angry.

2. I enjoyed it.
Let's face it. Connery is rarely in a bad film. It is a "Park your brain outside, eat your popcorn & enjoy the action" flick. On that level it is good entertainment.

but, mr. blm is a HUGE comics guy and he thought it was better than he expected, too.

7. Style over substance
As long as you go in with that expectation its enjoyable. If you are looking for something of quality with a good plot stick to anime or something. Personally I enjoyed it stylistically.

8. I'm afraid it will deviate too much from the comic
I guess I have to suck it up and see.

9. A friend loves the comic, is a movie buff
and DESPISED the movie. I thought it sucked, but wasn't very familiar with the comic.

11. Meh... the film was like a constant procession of famous monsters
not a great plot.
