Has anyone ever been motivated by a Successories product?
I ask this question with abject sincerity. I was leafing through the Sky Mall catalog that flamingyouth left here and I came across the section advertising Successories motivational products. As I read through them, I couldn't help but notice that I did not feel motivated by them. Instead, I felt moderately amused by the trite and clichéd sentiments of these semi-tacky, overpriced office wall-coverings. It then occurred to me that the mall in the city I grew up in had a Successories store in it when it first opened. It folded, of course. That seems ironic in a way.

Has anyone ever felt motivated by a Successory?

19. Actually, I think the motivational photos are great!
They motivate me to take another Photoshop class, or a day off from work to go play, or a long vacation river-rafting.

Maybe not what the publisher intended.

There used to be one in a mall where I worked. I've seen parodies of them, too Edit: just like in this thread.

18. They both annoy and amuse me, depending on my mood.
Stupid HR departments in companies buy this crap and put it on the walls of major corporations to "motivate the troops". Unbelievable.

I just wish I could come with mindless gimmick like this and make a ton of money. Of course, I would sell this garbage to Freepers and neo-Freeper types and give the money to leftist causes like DU. Or so goes my fantasy.
