5. Sammy Davis Jr. was extremely involved in the Civil Rights Movement.
He made great inroads for African American entertainers. He campaigned for Kennedy even when Kennedy didn't want him around because it made it look like Kennedy pro_Africian American. When Africian Americans were thinking of rioting, Sammy helped stop the riots and the bloodshed. This guy should be classified as a True American Hero.

I always thought the Pack sort of treated him like a second class citizen.
