I... I don't know, we seem to be having some technical difficulties, but as you can see there is a real situation brewing down there...

Preliminary reports indicate that we did indeed have spillage in the vicinity of the counter top and possibly on the stove top. And due to my overwelming incompetence, it doesn't look as if that will be cleaned up any time soon. That has the other inhabitants of the apartment very upset now.

We've just had a first hand account that this situation is spilling out onto the STREETS! It doesn't sound like the police have any control over this situation at all. And from the studio, I can only IMAGINE it's going to get a lot WORSE before it gets any better.

That vast majority of your soup consumers merely buys processed soups or what people like to call "canned" soup. There is one company in particular that has a monopoly on soup production and they are responsible for setting the price of soup so... WAIT... wait... wait...

THIS JUST IN: Soup pot mysteriously disappears. No answwer in sight. Witnesses describe a flash of light, then what can only be described as a thunderball entering the kitchen... Oh, the humanity... More on this later.

As I've said, our latest report indicate that the soup has disappeared, again the soup has DISAPPEARED, as well as the vehicle for "heating" the soup. The FBI has issued an Amber alert for the soup, which was in it's infancy and only a day or so old. All points bulletins have been issued and road blocks set up. We have just heard that thousands of, thousands? Well, a dozen? Throngs! Yes, THRONGS of pilgrims are gathering at the site of the soups disappearance. They have brough baskets with which to catch the rain of croutons that prophesies predict will fall from heaven on the day when "Thine broth shalt brighten and, with a sound of thunder, be smitten from my sight."
