Poll question: What Two Teams Do You Want in the World Series?
(I'm guessing this won't even be close...)

1. As we say in Boston-'It's a No Brainah'
Cubs/Sox. The Sox beat the Cubs 4-2 in 1918, and in order for the Curse to be lifted, they will have to meet the Cubs in the WS.

2. What would happen in Boston if....
Cubs/Sox met in the series, it went to game 7, and the Cubs win on a Sox error in the 9th? :nuke:

Seriously, though--if they meet in the series, one of 'em's gotta lose. I fear some serious rioting. Hell, I fear rioting if either wins...

Right before Game 7, a tornado will strike the stadium that they are playing at and spirit both teams away. Or something like that.... Anyway, the apocalypse is bound to happen now because my Mathletic team actually won today. :wow:

14. New Englanders would become optimists
Can you imagine? The whole curse fits perfectly in the New England, glass-half-empty, cynical world view. If Sox fans had nothing to complain about, Boston wouldn't be the same city.

15. Maybe they play to 18 innings in game 7.
Then, by mutual agreement, they share the trophy as co-champions... The crack in the earth heals (after swallowing up BushCo) and all is again right with the world.

11. As long as the Red Sox are in, I don't care about the NL team.
I think both of the NL teams are good stories and would make worthy champions. ABY - Anybody but the Yankees. :-)

Cubs. Marlins Red Sox would be alright how many times would they mention that John Henry owned the Marlins two years ago? Yankees Cubs would have some old timey charm. Yankees Marlins, pass the remote.
