1. you should of shared one first
The contraction should've, could've, would've is often written and thought of as "should of" just because it sounds like it.... in fact, I still find myself thinking of it like that for some reason.

2. on second thought, let's don't share any more.
A lot of people say (including me when I am tired or stressed) "Let's don't do that" instead of the correct "Let's not do that."

with out the contractions it would be this: "Let us do not do that"

3. I had a friend, whose first language wasn't English
She was sharing (in public) about being thankful in all circumcisions. Everyone let it pass the first time, but then she said it again, and everyone busted a gut. She of course meant circumstances.

4. My recent favorite...
... aside from Mrs. Malaprop's own, is Bush's desire to "vulcanize society."

5. a french friend/ elvis impersonator used to sing "auspicious minds"
and it really did make the song more upbeat if a bit confusing,.
i never had the heart to tell him because his costume was so nice, and it sounded great.

9. as a newsy, I was interviewing this radical anti-abortion priest..
...who was in town for a convention.
...some in his own church had been critical of this guy.
...I mentioned the criticism and quoted the critic.
the radical priest replied:
"Well, he's been misinformed by the wrong people!"

i bit my tongue to keep from asking, "Well, who would you prefer misinform him?"
