For fellow pagan DUers
A great Spring Equinox song is "Islands" by King Crimson. It is truly moving and beautiful. Good Life to you!

1. Thanks for the tip
I've been using Pagan tunes to keep myself sane the last week as fundie family roll out the annual "Let's Get the Heathen to Church" campaign. They're being especially obnoxious this year.

2. No problem. I have the same situation, myself.
The whole album, "Islands" is great, but the title song is so beautiful and...well...deep in a way. It has a very nature-loving core, at least for me. I hope you enjoy it. :hi:

5. Blessings and many thanks!
BTW aren't these just incredible times to be a pagan? Eostre being co-opted and all by the fundie right Shiavo worshipers?

There has to be a god of hypocrisy who has been having multi-orgasmic deified shudders of ecstasy lately.

Just how sick and twisted is that???

9. I just wish the JWs would give them all an earful.
Its a pagan holiday you heathens! You worshippers of false gods and lovers of graven images!!

Whats more those are our "false" gods and celebrations! I want them back! Get your own holidays fundie fuckin' Jesus Crispies!

The rest of the Christians that I haven't already offended may continue to use them... with my blessing. Not that that means anything outside of the New Pagan Church of the Frictionless O.

Hey!!!
"Father Lucifer, hows you Jesus Christ been hanging?"
(Tori Amos is a Goddess incarnate);-)

10. That is why Pagans, and pantheists and
Wiccans and everyone who values the principles and love generated and displayed by Nature, has to find their Joy this weekend. We may not have enough strength to counter balance all of the hate, stupidity, pain, and fear being generated by our fellow human beings, but we can grow our little "islands" of peace and joy - and I know it will have a positive effect. Ok, sermon over. Sorry...

11. There are many paths to the All. I believe it is meant that way...
...so as many feet can find their way to a path as possible. My own may not be the same as another's, but both can only be walked one step at a time.

May you find peace in this Renewal.

12. Thank you.
So much anger and hatred could be avoided if everyone believed as you. Please enjoy this weekend - whatever it may bring.

I'll give it a listen.

On a side note, a friend of my sons asked him why he hunts "Easter" eggs if he doesn't believe in Jesus. My son told him they are "Ostera" eggs and were used to represent Spring and what do eggs have to do with Jesus anyways.

:loveya: He's a smart boy. :loveya:
