on edit ... my mistake ... that is a pita ... the gyro just isn't in the pocket :shrug:

...except for those loathsome "pocket" pitas that one purchases at the grocery store and stuffs full of egg salad, or some similarly vile concoction.

Fresh-made pitas for me, thank you.

I'm spoiled. ;)


edit: ha! Yeah, I just don't like the mass-produced pocket pitas. I like 'em warm, fresh, and just a little bit greasy. :9

25. In europe
France specifically, they are sold at little stands all over, they are called "doner kebab" and served on french bread avec pomme frites. Still quite tasty.

And for an "armpit," it sure does have some beautiful architecture. Terminal Tower is my favorite building in the world. Not to mention the Beachland Ballroom and Great Lakes Brewing Co. And the Hungarian sausages at the West Side Market.
