Whoever is dreaming my life - has a sick sadistic sense of humor and I am not finding any of it funny.

because in some dreams, the dreamer knows he's dreaming and stops the events goig on in his head.

At other times, as hard as he tries and as well as he may know it's 'just a dream', he can't escape, and the events keep happening.

Now, there are several ways to look at it.

If you're just a dream, what difference does it make? You'll fade as the dreamer wakes and goes about his day, having never been real.

OR, like some dreams, you'll recur for years, never resolving the dream's issue, or never lessening the terror of the nightmare, as the case may be.

Having established all that, it seems YOU, as dream, can haunt the dreamer for as long as you wish, or fade out of his head, and maybe go live in someone else's when they fall alseep.

You will wear the disguise of whatever symbolism is relevant to the new host, of course. IOW, having been a tiger here, you're a train or a snake there.
