Help me sleep.
I work 7pm to 7am tonight and I need to take a nap for a couple hours. I've been trying to sleep for awhile, but can't yet. No drugs (although I could just warm up my Valerian tea), but anyone got anything to say or do that could put me to sleep right now? :boring:

1. warm milk
supposedly has a tranquilizing effect. A liite chocolate, but not enough for the caffiene in it to kick in, might make it more palatable.

Do you have any turkey in the house, even cold cuts? The triptophan in it will knock you out.

Of course, when I really need it, Sominex helps me. If you're having a hard time, go ahead and use the valerian.

10. One thing that always works for me
Lay on your back with your eyes closed and imagine the wall in front of you. Imagine painting it a warm, comforting blue. Brush or roller will do, but paint slowly and steadily, with your mental emphasis on the color.

Knocks me out like a Xanax hammer.
