Okay - so I was trying to see if I could learn what the "boom" was I heard (another thread) and found this.

I find this station to be better than the others locally. They tend to give fair coverage - and during the prewar buildup they gave very good coverage to various protests across the state (actually interviewing folks, reporting numbers that actually reflect the numbers of participants, etc.) Now - I like them even more - a bit of humour in their responses. Never really looked before.

Okay - so a response that reflects that perhaps the state needs the revenue because we are broke - and maybe a gas tax - if it prevents the steep proposed cuts to programs like Medicaid - might be acceptable isn't included.. but this is Indiana - no one would give an option like that... ;-)
