How do you feel when you read this?

What do you think of? How do you feel? Please tell me. I would like to hear what 'strangers' to the music would say.

At the end of days,
At the end of time,
When the sun burns out will any of this matter?
Who will be there to remember who we were?
Who will be there to know that any of this had meaning for us?

And in retrospect, I'll say we've done no wrong.
Who are we to judge what's right and what has purpose for us?
With designs upon ourselves to do no wrong,
Running wild, unaware of what might come of us....

The sun was born, so it shall die
So only shadows comfort me.
I know in darkness, I will find you giving up inside like me.
Each day shall end as it begins

1. Hi, Faye,

When I read this, and I've thought things like this, I feel a great hollowness inside me, and I wonder...My husband, who has no religious faith, says that the fact that we existed does matter, and the same for our planet. I can't see it...but what choice do we have but to go on as though our very existences have meaning? Chaos is meaningless, IMHO. And we are not designed to live in chaos.

because both are found within all things that exist.

i feel like i'm preaching some kind of religion with these lyrics, but i can't help it. i am still utterly obesessed with this band. :nopity:
