3. Hehehe, cat eyes are also very tough to photograph :)
Even with this shot (which I'm fairly pleased with) all the detail in the eye didn't really come through. There are so many flecks of different shades of color and stuff in a cats eyes. It's tricky to photgraph them, since even when their heads are still, their eyes are always moving :).

5. That's an awesome picture!
I tried to get some whisker pics of one of our cats, 'cause she's got ridiculous whiskers, and never came close to anything that detailed. Cool!

You definitely need to use a macro mode (or lense if you're using an SLR camera). It allows you to focus from a much closer distance and really fill the picture with one little thing.

I basically took that picture the same way I would one of an insect :).

He looks just like his mom, but he's at least twice her size. She lives outside. One of his nicknames is Dave the White.
