So the media is scrutinizing the school shooter's posts on the Nazi site

Which made me wonder--WHAT IF (god forbid) a DUer goes bull goose looney, and the media starts parsing their posts on DU?

Last night I had this vision. Anderson Cooper, solemnly addressing the camera, saying:

"But still, questions remain. What exactly does it mean. . . about the COWBELL."

i`m not really sure what the aryans take on the native americans. acually i have never seen this discussed on the site i read.

They are a neo-nazi group. The shooter posted under his own name, Jeff Weise, and referred to himself as a "Native Nazi." He supposedly had issues about keeping native American blood pure, etc.

It doesn't seem to make sense, one explanation I heard was that people from oppressed groups like to identify with an oppressor, to feel more powerful.

Native American would be low on the pyramid. If I recall some of my reading on the subject they would be above blacks, Jews, and Slavs but no where near Aryan perfection. If Hitler had taken over they would have probably been second class citizens but they wouldn't have gotten a trip to the gas chambers.

After Columbine, one would have thought that there would have been funds and societal nets somewhere that would have provided something for a kid like this. His father died, His mother and step-father got divorced, his mother was in a terrible car wreck and was brain injured, he was uprooted at a crucial time in his adolescence from an urban area to a rural area, to a house with his Grandfather who had two younger kids and a school in a poverty-stricken Native-American neighborhood with one guidance person for 400 kids. He was bullied, he was troubled, he was depressed, he was given Prozac, he was isolated...all the signs were there......and to top it all off - he was living in a house with guns.

thinking about how confused the feds would be if they ever tappped our phones. Our conversations are carried on in this wierd ESP like code where we talk utter nonsense but somehow know what the other person is saying. Sometimes it sounds like it should mean something sinister but no doubt has to do with walks in the woods with our puppies or something.
