Do you remember the thread "Is this kitten Francie or Frank?" Well....
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=105&topic_id=2143921

We eventually decided that the kitten was male and named him Charley. ("Frank" didn't suit him.)

Well. Guess who has been running around the house purruping, rolling around, making biscuits everywhere, and waving HER little ass in front of all the boy cats?

Yep. Charley.

We're looking on the bright side: somehow we managed to trap two girl cats out of a feral litter last November. That's two cats who otherwise would've run wild and kept having more kittens and more kittens.

Charley the Girl!

1. Wow, she's beautiful!
And Charley is a cute name for a female (better than Frank). Kudos to you for rescuing a gorgous kitty! :yourock:

6. MUCH better than Frank.
I'd originally named her Francie (when she was tiny) because her personality reminded me of a character in a book. But I like Charley better, too.

2. I have a girl dog named Charlie!
She even hikes her leg and marks her territory.
She was once accused of being the father of a litter of puppies. :D

That's a pretty kitty.:)

5. "hikes her leg" LOL
Our neighbor has a three-legged male pug. His left rear leg is missing. He lifts his right leg to pee and winds up peeing in a handstand. It's hilarious.

:toast: Here's to the Charlies of the world.

7. She's getting so big, we've begun mistaking her for our 10-yr-old Richard
who is also a black & tan tabby. She will rival him for sheer beauty when she's grown.

10. Give her a belly rub from my two tabbies.
And for Richard too! Mine are shameless when it comes to belly rubs.

11. Hi, Miss Kitty.
Yes, we found a home for Skittles & Charley. Ours. We never did find anyone to take them in, so we're going to have them microchipped when they're spayed and we'll see if they're interested in going outside after they've healed. If they go out, chances are they'll revert to wildness. We don't want to lose them, but our house is too small and our hearts too big . . .

:hi:
