A Red Sox/Marlins Series?
Hey, Red Sox fans! If you beat my Yankees tomorrow, the Marlins will be coming for you. Yep, they remember that nasty little inter-league series in the middle of the year where you guys ran up the score on them.

If my Yankees lose, GO MARLINS!!!

2. That's likely
It won't be a cakewalk for either team. I know a lot of people will be sleeping on the Marlins. Florida's gone through a very tough NL playoffs and have been resiliant as hell. The AL may very well win, but it won't bring back visions of San Diego and the Mets victories for NY.

3. If the Yankees win tomorrow,
at least I'll know we're no longer in an alternate reality.

5. There's no such thing as "running up the score" in baseball
You play hard for 27 outs. If you don't, you lose.

Sometimes very badly...

6. I agree with that
I'm tired of the unwritten rules. Somewhere it's said that you don't steal bases after "X" number of runs. Or you try not to score on a Sacrifice Fly with a certain lead.

This is baseball and I don't take umbrage at a team continuing to compete.
