Why do American car companies let the European market have the cool cars?
I was watching Motorweek on PBS and they had a segment from the European car show that featured American cars for the European market and they most likely won't ever be sold in the states. Cadillac had a really good looking sports sedan and Ford had a very cool version of the Focus that will only be sold in Europe. Whats the deal?

2. well it's too bad you know because those cars are better
looking then the ones they sell here, the Focus almost looked like a concept car. I would think they could make small modifications and sell them here.

5. Better design tastes, overall
Cars, appliances, packaging, et al. The market just has more sophisticated taste in general.

I bought a Bosch dishwasher about 1 year ago and besides the fact it's great mechanically it's got a simple clean design thats very appealing. Here is the link for the Geneva autoshow if anyone wants a looksee.

7. coz US car companies are run by idiots.
US car makers, esp GM, and most esp chevy keeps pumping out the most boring, boxy styled and mechanically lame POSs, then wonders why the foriegn automakers are kicking their ass.
