I give up. Sayonara.
Not "goodbye", just au revoir.
The NU DU is just....t..o..o....s..l..o..w.
It's frustrating trying to post and waiting, and waiting, and waiting for pages to load.

I'm giving it a rest.

It was regular ole super fast yesterday. It's only been like this since this morning though :shrug:

3. I have cable modem and it's crawling
5 minutes to LOAD and then a time out :grr:

I guess I will be forced to do some housework..:grr:

maybe one second faster than a DSL.

8. why is it so slow for some?
I'm still using a 56K drive with a dial up modem and I still only have to wait thirty seconds or so for DU to load up.

10. I'm on a LAN, or whatever - really fast, anyway, but
it's still a lot slower than usual. But it's a fast slow......definitely not out of line with modems that I've used. It's the database connection problems that are the real killer.

I wish the hard-working DU Web gurus well as they bravely sally forth to defeat the forces of DC Setup that are under the influence of PHP. Long live the glorious struggle.

9. The speed of your connection isn't the problem
(after all, the new DU doesn't contain any more content per page than the old except for avatars) ... the problem is with their servers.
