when I think of Bruce Lee, I think early 1970s, late 1960s.
I was thinking white american with drama and action films who had a cult following. Aside from Dean and John Wayne, Bogart, etc who were all ruled out, I could not think of any one.

although I was thrown off because I thought Lee was born in Hong Kong (a common misperception), did most of his work in the 60s and 70s

I am glad Mr. Scorpio came up with a real puzzler. Very clever on his part

I had checked imdb and they had a Bruce Lee film listed from the 1980s. That messed me up.

That made it easy for him to come back here to live

but didn't go before that.

Anyway, this one was hard as heck. Good challenge though.
