Poll question: Do You Believe In Ghosts?
The rational part of me wants to say, "Hell no!", but then I think about some things I've seen and experienced where there doesn't seem to be any rational explanation...so I just don't know! :scared:

1. After my son died, I felt his "spirit" around me at various times for
over two years. Then he went away. I'm not sure if this would qualify as a ghost.

2. Yes because I have seen one
and of the possible answers that could explain what I saw, a ghost is the simplest and most logical one.

3. I want to
I had a handful of very strange experiences at one point in my life, but don't know if they were produced by an outside agent or something inside myself.

4. I don't know.
But I think there will always be things that are beyond our human ability to know or grasp.

6. Nope
Just because you can't explain something at a certain time, doesn't make it unexplainable.

8. I'm always telling people that...
that's my argument against religion, but still...ghosts...I'm still not ready to rule them out :)

9. I am
Funny feelings, anecdotal evidence, and things you thought you saw with your imperfect senses don't add up to a hill of beans.

7. I saw Dick Clark a few times
he is about 170 years old so maybe he is a ghost.

11. Most definitely
We have had ghosts in a couple houses we've lived in (military life, moved a lot)

There were noises (voices to be specific), light SWITCHES being turned on by no one or thing, and cupboards and drawers that would be opened when no one or thing was around.

I always found it interesting.

12. I've had some rather close experiences myself
And to those who naysay, I can only remind them that 2000 years ago, anything that we didn't understand was considered created by "gods" or in some way was looked upon as mythology. Through the last two thousand years, we've made gigantic strides in understanding much of the "unknown" and I contend that just because we don't understand something even now, doesn't mean it won't have a scientific explanation further down the line.

13. I don't have to "believe". I've seen plenty of proof.
I lived in a haunted house and, pretty much against my will, finally came to accept their reality. It bummed me out too, being a materialist and a skeptic. Oh well. Can't let dogma get in the way of truth, so I had to let go of my skeptical materialistic dogma, regardless of how comforting it was.
