RVI, Radio Vlaanderen Intl.....I'm listing to "Music from Flanders" the very last edition as RVI goes off shortwave forever.

Doing that damned internet thing, like Swiss Radio Int'l, which we lost last year.

I really enjoyed RVI--a different European perspective on the news. Really a fun listen....

RIP, RVI....

Oops, it's over..now they're talking in Flemish as they go into their next broadcast segment....

3. Damn shame

to see these venerable giants going "Hardwire". I know it's progress, and better than losing their voices entirely, but it really takes much of the romance and excitement out of the experience. At least we still have Radio Nederlands (For now...)

4. BTW, the new A05 schedule is up now at

www.primetimeshortwave.com

I just printed it out (20 pages) and marked it with both Standard and daylight times for each hour (local time, next to the UTC listed), so I'm already to go. I highlight the NA broadcasts in yellow as a further reference point.
