Henry Hill had everything and then he's just another guy, but in many a way he's lucky, Tommy's dead, Paul and Jimmy are in jail.

3. I meant at the end of the movie
but yes Jimmy and Paul are both dead now which explains why Henry Hill is able to live a normal life. I did see a 48 hours special a few monoths or so back, and his kids hate him for what he put them through. I have to give Hill credit though, he has unlike Sammy the Bull Gravano managed to stay out of trouble for the most part.

17. It actually reminded me of my own nana who I lost a couple months back
Even though his mom was Italian and my nana Irish, it so reminded me of her, not having a clue what was going on but being nice and friendly to everyone.

19. She's in "Casino", too...and she's hilarious in it.
She just has a bit-part, as mother of one of the Midwest underbosses sent to oversee Vegas, but she's a scream!! She totally steals the scene she's in.

11. Actually...
Sammy the Bull got busted for running an Ecstasy ring in Arizona or New Mexico not too long ago. And Henry got busted for drugs just last week.

7. Yes, for the record, that was Sid Vicious' solo effort. The Pistols...
....had disbanded by then.

29. Technically it was Sid's solo single, but....
...there is a version on the Great Rock n Roll Swindle album which has Steve Jones on guitar and Paul Cook on drums. Which makes it the Pistols (minus Johnny, of course) even though it's likely these tracks were overdubbed later at McLaren's request.

30. They were looped in later.
And Paul Cook still denies that the tracks on that were his. They were probably a session musician.

5. Fuck 'em all.
I love all Scorsese's pictures, particularly Goodfellas, Mean Streets and Casino, but he does glorify wiseguys. I mean, it's fun and all, but you'd probably be less likely to find empathy for Henry or Jimmy if they were forcing you to pay protection, or burying your uncle in the woods.

Wiseguys choose the lives they lead. Let Fate take care of them.

I've even sat through "The Last Waltz" because he directed it, even though I hate 'The Band'.

15. I take it you saw the Aviator
I really havent liked DeCaprio because he was in Titanic like ha come on, I am developing my feelings for the ladies and this pretty boy has their goos and gaas, Scrocese's Gangs of New York though helped me see he wasnt just a pretty face.

18. I haven't seen "The Aviator" yet...
...I'm remiss in my Scorsese adoration!

I think DiCaprio is a great talent. See him in "The Basketball Diaries" and "Catch Me if You Can" for a glimse of his range. I think once the 'pretty boy' stuff wears off, he'll be recognised as one of the best actors of our age.

And, no, for once I'm not being sarcastic.

If only if I had seen the basketball diaries and what's eating gilbert grape before I saw Titanic. Yeah he is good, I like him, he's a class act too. You should see the Aviator, good one I thought.

20. It's basically a love triangle set in Victorian times between
Dainel Day Lewis, Winona Ryder and Michelle Phiffer, Lewis and Ryder are married but Pfiffer and Lewis have a unrequited love thing going. The thing about the movie is that visually it's beautiful and the victorian era customs, clothes and manners were accurate down to the knats ass detail. It was out in the early to mid 90's and i really enjoyed and it's a bit unexpected from Scorsese.
