Word to the wise
Never left roofers near your house on Easter weekend. Cause you spend the day fighting unbearable crowds out in public, or else suffer a kind of infernal racket that is unbearable.

Tell me they won't be here tomorrow, please?!!!

They'll all be at home, gorging themselves with Peeps, circus peanuts and licorice jelly-beans, probably provided by my mother.

but why would you have teams of Hispanic and Romanian roofers working until sunsent on Good Friday? Some things just ain't right.

why the employer would have teams of Hispanic and Romanian roofers working until sunset on Good Friday, but it boils down to: "Because they can."

I agree, it just ain't right.

I misinterpreted your post, and I thought you meant the roofers' sounds (hammering nails into wood) were attracting crowds to your house. Some sort of pilgrimage or something. Easter. You know.
