Austin City Limits: Wilco and Bright Eyes
Just finished a huge project, checked out what the TiVo had for me, and I have a brand new recording of Austin City Limits with both Wilco and Bright Eyes!

Woo-hoo!

2. Yes, indeed...
It's also the bumper sticker on my car. I love Steve.

Have you seen Wilco in concert? I've loved them for a long time, but just finally saw them a few months back in San Jose. Wow, do they put on a great show.

3. Yes, I've seen Wilco once.
They started in central Illinois, where I'm from, so I've had a few opportunities. I love the Mermaid Avenue albums.

I've seen steve in concert four times. His shows are always a blast.

4. Check this out...

These are some pictures I took of Steve at the free bluegrass fest in SF last year. The Bluegrass Dukes were busy so he played a rockin' set all by himself. Lots of stuff from Revolution.

I also saw him twice on his current tour. He's sober, in love, and pissed off at the government, which is great for his music, in my opinion.

5. I get WTVS from Detroit here (East coast Canada)...
And that isn't playing until next Saturday here. My friend on the other side of the country told me about it thoughy, I can't wait to see it.

This weekend's Austin City Limits was The Flaming Lips and The Shins. I missed that, but I suspect it was also probably quite good.

6. Yeah, that was
back in January I think.

I just got tickets today (floor!) to Bright Eyes and The Faint May 11 in Council Bluffs.

7. Cool
Wish he would come play here (California). He did play in Berkeley in Feb, but I was at Steve Earle that night.

I watched part of the Austin City Limits show last night, it was great, Jim James even came out and played.
