How was The Daily Show with Craig Kilborn?
I'm curious. I'm a big fan of The Daily Show, but I didn't start watching it until the last 2 years. What was the show like under Craig Kilborn? When did he leave? Was the show similar? Was it less satirical? How was it different?

1. It's a lot less smarmy without Kilborn.
He was almost nearly mildly sort of amusing.

2. I heard it was much less political
but I rarely watched it back then.

3. I think it was just like his network show.
Honestly Jon made me forget most of the Kilborn era.

4. More comedy, less political
Think SNL's Weekend Update.

Kilborn was HILARIOUS on ESPN's SportsCenter...a perfect foil to most of the SC anchors.

5. Not a whole lot different from his CBS show...
... except it was shorter and the interview segments took up a smaller portion of the show...

... but he even did "5 Questions" on The Daily Show.. and took that with him...

With Kilborn hosting it, The Daily Show would have been right at home on E! or some network like that... it was mildly amusing, but definitely not the satirical brilliance of Jon Stewart...
