I went to church for the first time in years today.

It was interesting. Went to the near by Methodist church and they did have a prayer for the people of Red Lakes, Minnesota, Terri Schiavo and her family, and the people in southwestern Colorado who were near a mining explosion. Though I have to say, some of the modern praise music still can be annoying, though that may be because they played it at my old evangelical church.

We have a live band which mixes in some contemporary music and its really good.
