Just posted today by one of our clearly more enlightened trolls:

Comments: 6 cats? I'll bet your house smells great.You are gay aren't you? The signs are all there. You have 6 cats and you hang out at DU.....empty the litter boxes, the place stinks.

My web site is non-political. It's just for posting photos of the cats.

What do you think? Delete the post & keep it clean, or leave it up for people to see that there really are bigoted ignoramuses out there?

2. To make you feel better
I have SEVEN cats, I hang out at DU, and I have been married to my husband for nearly 16 years. I support gay rights and dislike people being mean and nasty. The only person it reflects upon is the poster, but frankly there is no reason to be impolite.

If a neighbor came and crapped in my yard, I'd clean it up -- though part of me would like to keep it around to show all the other neighbors what a creep that one guy is.

they don't deserve to have you tell them why. Some of the guestbooks I use for websites show you the IP address of visitors and allow you to block/ban IP addresses; I'd do that too. If they want to play with themselves why let them do it in your space?
