To have to endure a trial of his murderer is unbearable. Catherine is a strong woman with some great family support, I think. I wish her great peace and strength and I will be praying for her each day. No one should have to endure this. You have our love, Catherine!

SF, hang tough. I know from personal experience that murder trials can be long, drawn-out episodes of reliving every agony of the moments you first found out about his fate, but, although it may not always appear this way, the prosecution and the detectives are likely doing all they can to bring justice to your son's case.

As a homicide detective, I used to witness the families misery first-hand and personally, and wish there were something that would expidite the entire process so you can take steps towards dealing with this in your own way without the legal proceedings constantly reminding you of the event itself.

My heart goes out to you, I understand exactly what you are going through and you have my most heartfelt, sincere condolensces. It is a place that on one should ever have to pass through.

I wish you strength.

I had the pleasure of meeting sffreeways and her partner at a DU get-together a couple of years ago. She impressed me as a strong person; at times like these, she will need every bit of that stregnth.
