I work in a high school and the whole science department are Python freaks...I am not in the science department...but we do Python stuff all the time and the kids look at us like we are nuts!

get an invite... which is odd since my husband and I both donate to the party.

right now I like Dean but PA's primary isn't until May of 2004 (late) and with so many important local races I prefer to spend my money there right now..but past November 4th...I will be giving to Dean most likely...but that said...I will support whoever gets the nomination of the party.

I'm new to the forum, so maybe this isn't the right place to post this, but I have a question you can ask:

I live close to Philly, so the 3 major network outlets all originate there for local news. Tonight, they broke in with a "special report".

Mayor Streets was giving a press conference.

It seems that there was an FBI "raid" on the city court house, today. This on the heels of the discovery of an FBI bug in the Mayor's office. The FBI showed up with subpeonas and warrants to search the offices of some city officials involved in awarding contracts, but not the Mayor's office.

The Mayor had a simple question. Why, when the city offices are cooperating fully and willing to give the FBI anything that they ask for did they stage a "raid", with the media in tow? Could it have anything to do with the election, 19 days from now?

I saw a lot of howling from the republicans about the LA times, an independent newspaper, publishing negative reports about the Governator.

It will be interesting to see how they respond to our own government trying to generate negative publicity about a popular Democratic Mayor 19 days before he goes up for re-election.
