Berkeley Breathed on book tour for his new book "Flawed Dogs"

Berkeley Breathed, the creator of Bloom County, is on a booktour to promote his new book Flawed Dogs.

Hopefully some DUers can go out and suport this great Author/Cartoonist and ask when the gang from Bloom County will be back in our paper. I've been rereading all the old Bloom County strips and we so desparately need Milo, Binkley, Opus, Bill the Cat et. al. back commenting about the state of our country and especially that idiot in the White House.

1. Actually, he is coming back

Read it a couple of weeks ago - Sundays only, one-half page! New strip, but Opus will be there. Don't know when it starts. Obviously, I too am an enormous fan; Sunday is no fun without "Outland."

3. How cool is that?

The book is intended to encourage people to adopt shelter dogs. I have one of those 'flawed dogs,' and two apparently 'flawed' shelter cats (and two cats who never got that far, once Mr. Nownow and I encountered them). Nice to see he's coming out of the gate with a really sweet, positive statement, on top of more of his (much appreciated and missed, don't get me wrong!) cartoons.
