Is Anyone Going to Watch the New Spiderman Cartoon on MTV Tonight?
It started last week and I missed the premiere. Did anyone else catch it?

Most of the episodes are being written by Bendis, so it should be in a similar style to Ultimate Spiderman.

BTW, this will be the first time I've watched MTV in ages!

I think it's on from 8 to 9 pm ET, but I'd check your listings if I were you.

1. hey!
You stole my girlfriend's pentacle avatar!

It sounds promising - we're both Spidey fans, but we'll be out for a late birthday dinner, and probably won't see it.

Write a review when you do! :D

3. It has a real interesting style of animation

It looks like a combination of computer and traditional animation, by way of the studio that did Aeon Flux.

They're not going for a realistic look, but one that emulates a comic book.

The lips are a bit off and the expressions aren't quite human, but it works well enough for the first season. Hopefully it will improve as it goes on.

Storywise it's pretty close to the current Ultimate Spiderman book, which means it's good.

4. Aww, for cryin' out loud
It's "Spider-Man", not "Spiderman"!

Even my 5-year-old nephew knows that.
