Did anybody watch "Lost" last night?
We had a power outtage at the very end of it. Locke went to his Father's right after the operation and was turned away. He was driving away in his red VW and... ???

2. That was the end of the flashback
No explanation of how he lost the use of his legs. I thought it was a particularly good episode.

Oh, and back on the island, Locke threw himself on the artifact screaming that he had done all he could and what more did it want of him. All at once the glass on top of the artifact lit up. Very creepy.

3. and nothing
he stopped, and just was totally disgusted.

What else do you need to know?

After getting whats-his-name to the doctor, Locke ran off and was beating on the hatch, screaming at it that he had done all that it had asked.

And then a light shone through the glass of the hatch, and the show ended . . .

6. It really was his father, but it turned out that he had
used the mother to find the son. She explained that the father said it had to appear to Locke as if it were all Locke's idea. He forced himself out of the hospital bed, drove down to the father's house, and the guard wouldn't let him in. That's when he started pounding the steering wheel, etc., and the rest is in posts above.

7. His father was gone when Locke woke up
and the father was in private care at home.

The mother set Locke up for $$$. She pointed out that it was all the father's idea, saying that the way it was done would be the best way to make Locke volunteer to donate instead of the father asking for it.

Then the father doesn't want anything to do with Locke again.

8. Locke woke up from the operation and his father was not in the bed next to
him. Locke asked the nurse where his father was; she told him that he had checked out and gone home. Locke's mother appeared in the doorway and confessed that the father had "put her up to it" (tracking down Locke so his father could have the kidney) because if he had approached Locke, he didn't think Locke would donate it to him. Locke gets pissed and rips out his drip lines, leaves the hospital and goes to his father's home, but the guard won't let him in. He drives away and... that's where my power died!
