I brought Splinter Cell Chaos Thory this mornig at EB Games, and the manager asked if I've tried playng the PSP in person. I said no, and he wa snice enought to let me try out Tiger Woods on the PSP. I have to admit, it looks and plays BETTER than the PS2 version! The screen is great, small but with a 16:9 widescreen ratio, it really stood out. The form factor felt just right, nothing too far out of range, overall a very good experience.
BUT..I want to see how Sony brings net services to it. The PSP has alot of potential :-) Another issue is that I use a Mac, and whn I get a PSP, I want to be able to synch my info on it like the iPod does. I still like to get a silver iPod mini, but now it would seem like I'm settling for a evice with one great featue (music0 and handy synchng. NO games like Tiger Woods, or mVP 2005, no movie, no potential streaming videos and internet service like IM. I do know that there are several applications for synching macs to PSPs...and if that's the case, should I go ahead and place my money down for a PSP?
