Legendary Radio Broadcaster in SF - KFRC

Wonderfully hilarious man to "drive to work to". He will be missed.

9. I remember Dr. Donald D. Rose.

He was the morning man for five years at WFIL in Philadelphia, right before he left for the West Coast. But for years after that, he was the voice of kids' programming at WKBS-TV, Channel 48 in Philly.

WKBS always had the greatest kids' lineup, and Dr. Don was king, even though we never saw his face (since he was shipping tapes with his host announcements from San Francisco)!
