what should I do about my hair
I'm starting to get male pattern baldness. It's not bad enough to say fuggit and go bald but it looks pretty stringy on top and on another thread somebody was laughing about a "dead rat combover" so I don't really want to go there. I'm playing a concert in two weeks and just found out that I'll have my back to the audience and it's gonna look stupid.

1. Just shave it all off
I did. For some reason, women find it sexy. Or so my gf said.

2. Baldness isn't stupid
or even unattractive, - unless you try insecure and silly looking things like the comb-over. Many men find that baldness looks more distinguished with a little bit of a beard and moustache.

Be neatly groomed and confident, you'll look great. Really.

4. do the dignified thing
and cut it all really short.

I don't find baldness unattractive at all. I do find long hair on balding guys sorta silly, though.

5. High-N-Tight!!! The Best Haircut In The World...
... for me anyway. I've got the same problem and it's the haircut that solves all the problems.

1) You can stop trying to hide it and just go with the flow.
2) Haircuts are cheaper.
3) It looks cool.
4) You can shampoo with bar soap.
5) You can throw away your blow dryer.
6) Shorten your A.M. get-ready routine by 5 minutes (at least).
7) Gray hairs practically disappear.

6. Wear a hat! Hats are great on stage.
About the hair, see men don't lose hair, it just migrates south down the backside.
Anyway, I think those are the hairs they use for replacement.

10. hats are a giveaway
that you're sensitive about the bald spot.
My female friends see a hat and assume that's that is the reason for it–almost a combover.
If you're okay with that, go with it–a temporary safe route.
However, there are lots of balding men that are beautiful and appealing.
Don't hide it man!
I don't know about other women, but the ones I know do not make those remarks about balding men, only the ones that are self concious about it (combovers, toupees and so forth, BAD solutions).

12. Get you some Rogaine
Hell, I don't know. My hair has thinned quite a bit because of the chemo I'm going through, but even worse than that: it quit curling. I've had curly hair for over thirty years, and the last time I got it cut all the curls left. Except for the very back, where it's still pretty long. So now I have to comb my hair, and even look in a mirror to make sure it looks right. I look like a different person.

13. For all you bald guys
It's kind of sexy, and don't you know that studies show that men who bald have more testosterone? }(
