To Red Sox/Cub Fans

Your teams didn't make it. But realize that there are tons of other teams who never even come close to getting to the World Series. Think about it. How many teams were at home in October? I am from the DC area orginally, and the Orioles--well, let's just say, they haven't done anything in years.

I am in Florida so I can root for the Marlins. But take it from someone who is orginally from an area where the local baseball team has not had much success.

You are all fortunate to get that far. It won't make you feel better and it probably is of little consolation, but it is something to think about.

You all should be grateful that your teams got as far as they did, for most MLB teams never get that close.

and a stupid manager the country was robbed of the marquee matchup.

I am an Orioles fan and I thought in one second of Jeffrey Meier. That stupid kid ruined my nine year old dreams, then we get there again the next year, and now well now no where.
