Apocolypse: Now?

With the Pope dying, I think it is time for me to once again bring up the prophesy of St. Malachy. http://www.jpdawson.com/lastpope.html

That site has some interesting scenarios...

As I understand it though... from the time of the new Pope until the end it will be about 7 years.

So, if a new pope is elected now (2005) and he is da man for 7 years until 2012.... wouldn't that line up with the Mayan calander of.... DOOM!?

2. I didn't say it was the rapture..

I was merely pointing out that it is interesting to have 2 end of the world myths sync up in timelines.
