I apologize if anyone took offense to the thread some MORON
started in my absence from the computer to watch the final play of the game.
I deleted it as soon as I saw it.
I am searching the house for the miscreant that posted it, and rest assured he will be used as collision mats on the newly-refurbished SI ferry terminal.

Again, sorry if anyone took offense.

Well done Sox. Even though I have lived in NY most of my life, and I like the Yankees, I have a soft spot for the Sox from my days there in Boston.

One of the best playoff games (series too) that I have ever listened to.

1. I missed the thread...
was setting up my new computer while my brother was watching the game and keeping me posted! It would have been cool if the Red Sox won, since the Yankees have had such good teams for so many years.

Oh well, hope whoever hijacked your screen gets spanked!!!

2. It's hard to hate 'em,
and it's hard to root for 'em. So what are you going to do? Root for a team that's 6 out of 8, or a team that's ONLY 2 outta 4? Sigh

3. Heh. Reminds me of the time some years back...
when I left my computer online and unattended. My brother sat down at the keyboard and some dude who thought it would be me started trying to chat him up on ICQ.

4. It's even worse
when you and your man sound exactly alike on the phone.

His mom and dad both mistake me for him. Every time. In fact.... everyone that calls for him and gets me thinks I'm him.

5. When my daughter was about 12, she discovered she could

fool one of my friends into thinking she was me on the phone. She didn't think it was as cool when I pointed out that I could do the same thing with her friends if I wished to!

We still are always startled by each other's voices on answering machines --
"Now when did I leave that message?" Very weird when you realize it's not you, it just sounds like you!

13. Also, saw your Dennis Kucinich tagline...
I am working on Howard Dean's campaign here in CT, and I really like Dennis Kucinich, too. So maybe they can be a team in the White House!! That would be great :) :) :)

10. My buddy Caroline has a very deep voice
and gets mistaken for a guy a lot. If you saw her, you'd definately know the difference!!

6. moof wishes to protest in the strongest possible terms to
possible misuse and misappropriation of one of the words in the title of this thread, unless WannaJumpMyScooter can explain otherwise we must sorta assume that the word that was meant to be used here was indeed if not for sure shoulda been "MORAN". If this allegation turns out to be either somewhat or completely baseless please disreguard this post irreguardless of anything dookus might have to offer on the topic.

about the Moran!! I saved the pic on my old computer which I just fried about a week or so ago...

14. There were no Morans at my party, I assure you.
These were all red-blooded lefty types, and thus, I feel, are entitled to the proper spelling.

BTW, the miscreant has been apprehended and is suffering from a severe rapid dehydration syndrome (hangover) which I repeatedly interrupted with loud activity in the hallway outside the door to the room in which he was ensconsed.

Payback is a MF.
