Who else does this?

Sometimes I get a phone call. And I don't want to answer the phone or even check the voicemail. But I will take the phone number and google it, or go to some phone number site, to try to find out who called. And then try to infer why.

AM I strange, or is this normal?

1. I do it when i get a call on my cell and don't recognize the number.

No use wasting my minutes on telemarketers. If its important they will leave a message.

and is in desparate need of help and calls you from an unrecognized pay phone number you'll just ignore them?

3. It sounds like the same thing could be happening to you,

as you don't want to answer your phone either.

I don't know if I have gotten a call from a pay phone in 10 years. I have noticed that there are much fewer payphones than 10 years ago also. What would you do if you did not feel like answering and that happened?
