"I remember as a kid trying to figure out who was the most miserable bastard on TV, Walter Brennan or William Demarest. Now that it's being rerun on the Nashville Network, I'd have to say Walter Brennan wins, hands down. Both Brennan and Demarest were definitely better suited as character actors on the big screen."

5. Walter Brennan is from my home town
Lynn Ma. He visited my school when I was in the 2nd or 3rd grade. He had incredible blue eyes.

6. I lived in Lynn!
We lived there when my sister was born. As I recall, we lived on Baltimore Street. That was eons ago. We also lived in Revere and Boston.
