5. April 1st is the feast day of St. Hugh of Grenoble
Here is a good link for info on Saints. They have the Saint of the Day as well as an alphabetical listing you can check.

April 1 is the feast day of St. Hugh of Grenoble.

Dan Brown was not too concerned with his facts. Quite a bit of what he based his story on came from a medieval document 'discovered' I believe in the 1970's. It was subsequently debunked as a forgery.

4. I'm reading "A Letter Of Mary" by Laurie R King.
From her mystery series featuring Sherlock Holmes & his wife, Mary Russell. (They married after his "retirement.") I'm enjoying the series--intelligently written homage to the Great Detective.

The object at the heart of the current volume: A papyrus that is apparently a letter from Mary, a disciple of Christ, written long after his death to her sister in Magdala. Mysterious forces want to get the papyrus & one murder has already occurred. The game is afoot!

(The book was published in 1997.)
