why don't you give it up already........after last nights game you post pictures of Schilling and Johnson lifting the world series trophy in 2001 and now..... this thread......how pathetic are you........the Yankees won and believe it or not, life does go on........why are you trying piss off both Yankee and Red Sox fans........why don't you put it on pause for a while.........

4. Yankees fans should remember that...
...it's easy to cheer for the team that wins all the time. It dosen't require any faith or intestinal fortitude at all.

11. Many Yankee fans are also
New York Ranger fans (we waited 54 years for a STanley Cup), New York Knick fans (no championship since 1973). Yes the Yankees are winners but we know from losers too.

...since the Yankees win all the time it is really of no import or consequence that they won yet again. Had the Sox adn Cubs won, now that would have been something worth talking about. As it is? Hey, we still have the History channel.

I understand Vermont's frustration with Red Storm's early braggadocio. A little comeuppance is always due the producers of this type of verbage, even if it really is all in fun!

However, the nastiness that follows on this thread, from both sides of the Yankee aisle, is unworthy of the beautiful game fans were given by the Red Sox and Yankees last night. It's all entertainment. And, if you're not just a fairweather fan, then you are a fan, win or lose, and there is nothing wrong with that, regardless of your team.

OK. I'm feeling really corny about now, so I will stop. I hope the ugliness stops, too.
