Apart from walking, what can I do to quickly save myself?
Weakening arms, weakening legs, constant light headed feeling. If I walk 2 hours a day this seens to help.

I haven't that much time.

I will be doing arm exercises w/weights but I fear my time is running out. But only ones that won't involve shoulder muscles as I'm still recovering from surgery.

My doctor also didn't return my phone call so I've got to do this on my own.

Any suggestions on exercises I can do?

3. First you need bloodwork to check for anemia and hypoglycemia
After that, a stationary bike is a pretty good choice.

5. Bloodwork from December had shown a likely B12 absorption issue.
Pernicous (sp?) Anemia could be significant. I'll look that up, thanks!

4. I wouldn't excercise until I knew why I was light headed
I don't think that anyone has died from lack of exercise over a short period of time, but they have died from exercising with heart problem. If walking helps, the cause could involve your sugar levels. I think that they sell these over the counter. Go to the store, buy one, and self test.
If you are getting a lot worse, go to the emergency room. Call on Monday regardless. If they can't get you in, sometimes you can be seen if you just show up if it is at a clinic with multiple doctors and convince them that you need to be seen right away.

6. I love my stationary recumbent bike.
I've had lots of back & neck issues, but have always been able to get some good exercise with it. Keeps the knees strong.

7. Water aerobics
If you have access to a swimming pool where they offer water aerobics classes I would heartily recommend them. I'm overweight and out of shape and have been taking an hour class 3 times a week at our local public pool. Because the water supports you it's really easy on your joints and you can get a surprisingly good workout without feeling like you're killing yourself.
